What are the steps in the endoscopic facelift?
An incision of 2-3 cm is made in the scalp in the temple area. Another incision is made on the inner or outer edge of the eyelid. Through these incisions, the midface, temple and forehead regions are reshaped using special surgical instruments and a thin camera.
No incision is made on the facial skin. The procedure is also performed without opening the lower eyelid. No skin is removed and there is no need for surgical dissection under the skin.
Lower facelift in Antalya is an ideal option for patients with youthful skin and subcutaneous tissues, where this surgery has no effect on the SMAS and skin layer. Lower facelift is useful in early stage deformities where muscle laxity and excess skin are not evident in the lower eyelid. This operation takes less time and does not cause significant pain compared to the classic facelift procedure.
However, it is not preferred for those with signs of advanced aging. At our aesthetic clinic in Antalya, Turkey our specialists can assess the suitability of lower facelift surgery for personal needs and in addition, they can offer the most suitable treatment options such as facelift in Antalya, Turkey.
In this procedure, the anatomical structures of the face are pulled towards the places where they should be, and this procedure does not leave any scar on the face. The connection of facial mimic muscles with the skin remains impaired, thus causing no loss of mimic. The eyebrows, under-eye areas and cheeks appear to be in harmony both sideways and upwards. The tissues on the face are opened and fixed with dissolvable sutures slightly to the sides and upwards. The hair is not cut and the scar is not visible from the outside as it remains in the hairs.
If there are excessive wrinkles and looseness in the facial skin, an incision can be made in front of the ear in addition to this method. But the main thing that carries and shapes the face is the sutures placed by means of the endoscopic method. No load is applied to the facial skin. On the contrary, the deep tissues carry the load. This procedure leaves no traces. It gives an oval shape to the face by avoiding a flat, strained expression.
